Enrico Lara, President and Co-Founder
Enrico (Ric) Lara began his career on the business side of retail and manufacturing as a merchandise buyer, store operations manager and product manager, then rapidly transitioned his skills to the Information Technology business. He began his consulting career working as a business systems consultant for various retailers in the United States.
Lara began working full time for Target Corporation as a senior systems manager, hired specifically to development and implement applications for Product Development and Design. During his senior tenure at Target, he was appointed as Product Executive to the WorldWide Retail Exchange Organization, where he led a global team of retailers to define the best practices and systems required to support the Product Design and Development business.
Lara is a noted expert on Product Lifecycle Management and frequently speaks at industry events.
Kumaran Perumal, Vice President and Co-Founder
Kumaran Perumal is a subject matter expert in business process modeling and supply chain compliance automation. He has designed and implemented the social responsibility and Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) compliance automation solution for a major retailer. He is currently managing Hokura’s TransparentCMS (TM) product development and implementation.
Perumal has extensive experience executing turnkey software projects from concept to implementation on a fixed-cost, outsourced development model. He has managed application development, production support and maintenance for global retailers, delivering cost-effective solutions through an innovative rapid development approach. In addition, he has provided IT and business process consulting for major retail companies such as GAP, Target and Mervyns.
Perumal continues to research and improve upon the methodology for building a transparent business process model for corporate social responsibility and supply-chain security.
Hong Hauw, Vice President and Co-Founder
Hong Hauw is Hokura’s Chief Technology Architect specializing in integrated database and applications development. He is an expert in architecting and implementing supply chain integration solutions involving both home-grown systems and third-party products built on different technology platforms.
Hauw has extensive experience in custom application development for the retail industry. He began his career in the telemarketing and retail industries and then joined Target Corporation, where he became Senior Technical Architect for Product Development and Design. As a technology and supply chain integration consultant for major retailers, Hauw applies his expertise in midrange systems, client-server and web-based environments. His professional skill set includes a broad range of programming methodologies, application servers, database systems and component/developer toolkits.
Hauw remains on the leading edge of information technology and is leveraging his expertise to build an effective on-demand solution based on the SaaS approach for all Hokura offerings.
